Connect with ANAC members in your area!
One of the things members tell us they love most about ANAC is the opportunities we provide for them to connect and share ideas with colleagues and friends. In our continued effort to enhance these opportunities and connect more members, we are excited to launch virtual regional meetings!
These meetings were created to allow ANAC members, both those affiliated and unaffiliated with local chapters, the chance to discuss specific topics, share insights and get to know one another. Each meeting will start with a short presentation on a relevant topic, followed by a Q&A and a chance for attendees to share their insights. These meetings will not replace local chapters or cross-chapter collaboration, but offers a new way to "get together" with people in your region.
We hope to see you at the first virtual meeting for the West Coast region. Additionally, please encourage friends and colleagues in your region to participate.
Presentation overview
Orlando Omar Harris, PhD, RN, FNP, MPH will discuss the cycle of COVID-19 vaccine readiness and acceptance, barriers to and strategies to increase acceptance and community resources to combat COVID-19 disparities in communities of color.
