Born to Be follows the stories of transgender and gender nonconforming patients and their surgeon, Dr. Jess Ting, at the groundbreaking Mount Sinai Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery in New York City, as they begin or continue their gender affirmation journeys with unparalleled quality of transition-related health and surgical care. Proceeds from this screening go to support the work of Brooklyn Community Pride Center and the Greater NY Chapter of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care.
